For information on how to configure parameters for your devices check out Adding configuration Parameters
Configuration parameters
Parameter no. 1 - Switch type I1
Sets the device to operate with either a momentary or a toggle switch. If a toggle switch is connected to the NERO-10VDIM you will not be able to set the dimming value from the switch, only from the app.
Available settings (data type: 1 Byte DEC):
- [DEFAULT] 0 - Momentary switch
- 1 - Toggle switch
- 2 - Potentiometer
- 3* - 0-10V temperature sensor (regulated output)
- 4* - 0-10V illumination sensor (regulated output)
- 5* - 0-10V generic sensor (regulated output)
If setting this parameter to 3, 4, or 5 you must exclude the module (without reset), wait 30 seconds, then include the module again.
Parameter no. 10 - Participation in all on/off
Z-wave includes a special message type to tell all devices on the network to turn on or off. This isn't always desirable so it is possible to change how the device responds to these commands.
This will not change the functionality of the All Lights quick command on the NEXUS-NERO dashboard. Refer to the quick commands customisation article to change this feature.
Available settings (data type: 2 Byte DEC):
- [DEFAULT) 255 - Responds to ALL ON and ALL OFF
- 0 - Doesn't respond
- 1 - Responds to ALL OFF only
- 2 - Responds to ALL ON only
Parameter no. 11 - Auto off delay
Sets the time delay for the output to turn off automatically after an on command is received from either the UI or the switch connected to i1.
Available settings (data type: 2 Byte DEC):
- [DEFAULT] 0 - Disabled
- 1-32535 - Time in seconds or milliseconds (see parameter 15)
Parameter no. 12 - Auto on delay
Sets the time delay for the output to turn on automatically after an off command is received from either the UI or the switch connected to i1.
Available settings (data type 2 Byte DEC):
- [DEFAULT] 0 - Disabled
- 1-32535 - Time in seconds or milliseconds (see parameter 15)
Parameter no. 15 - Auto on/off delay time
Sets the time unit for parameters 11 and 12 to be seconds or milliseconds.
Available settings (data type: 1 Byte DEC):
- [DEFAULT] 0 - Seconds
- 1 - Milliseconds
Parameter no. 21 - Double press function
Sets the dimmer to full brightness with a quick double press of the button connected to i1.
Available settings (data type: 1 Byte DEC):
- [DEFAULT] 0 - Double press disabled
- 1 - Double press enabled
Parameter no. 30 - Save state on power failure
Your device can be configured to save its state in the event of a power failure and restore it when power is restored. In many cases, such as bedrooms, this may be undesirable behaviour.
Available settings (data type: 1 Byte DEC):
- [DEFAULT] 0 - Saves and restores device state after power failure
- 1 - Does NOT save state, device will always be "off" after power is restored
Parameter no. 60 - Minimum dimming value
Sets the minimum dimming value of the device. Some LED lights will have a noticeable flicker at low dimming levels, if this affects your lights you can set this value to prevent the flicker level being reached.
This value cannot be higher than the maximum dimming value, parameter 61
Available settings (data type: 1 Byte DEC):
- [DEFAULT] 1 - 1%
- 1-98 - Value in percent
Parameter no. 61 - Maximum dimming value
Sets the maximum dimming value of the device. For many lights there is not a noticeable increase in light produced at the top of the dimming range. By setting this parameter you can save money by reducing your energy use without impacting the amount of light in the room.
This value cannot be lower than the minimum dimming value, parameter 60
Available settings (data type: 1 Byte DEC):
- [DEFAULT] 99 - 99%
- 2-99 - Value in percent
Parameter no. 65 - Soft on/off time
Sets the amount of time the light takes to turn on or off, also known as the ramp time, when the switch connected to i1 is tapped or the controls from the UI are used.
Available settings (data type: 2 Byte DEC):
- [DEFAULT] 100 - 1 second
- 50-255 - Time in milliseconds, e.g., 50 = 0.5 seconds, 255 = 2.55 seconds.
Parameter no. 66 - Dimming time on press
Sets the amount of time the light takes to dim from minimum to maximum when the switch connected to i1 is held down. If you are finding it hard to set the lights to the desired level extending this time can help make it more controllable.
Available settings (data type: 2 byte DEC):
- [DEFAULT] 3 - 3 seconds
- 1-255 - Time in seconds
Parameter no. 110 - Temperature sensor offset
Sets the offset value of actual measured temperature of the sensor which is reported back to the controller.
Available settings (Data type: 2 Byte DEC)
- [DEFAULT] 32536 - Offset 0ºC
- 1-100 - Value divided by 10 in ºC added to the measurement, e.g., 1 = 0.1°C, 100 = 10°C
- 1001-1100 - Value divided by 10 (excluding the leading 1) in ºC removed from the measurement, e.g., 1001 = -0.1°C, 1100 = -10°C
Parameter no. 120 - Temperature reporting
Sets what amount of change is required in the sensed temperature before sending a new report to the controller.
Setting this parameter too low can cause your wireless mesh to become busy and cause commands to not be sent or received correctly. We recommend not setting this parameter lower than 5.
Available settings (Data type: 1 Byte DEC)
- [DEFAULT] 5 - 0.5ºC
- 1-127 - Value divided by 10 in ºC, e.g., 1 = 0.1°C, 127 = 12.7°C
