If you are unable to locate the device behind the existing light switch, you may also choose to install these in the ceiling cavity.
The options shown below both require the use of a twin active cable between the module and the manual switch. The devices can either be grouped together in a junction box or located at the first point in each group of switched lights.
NOTE:
- The maximum distance allowed on the twin active between the device and the light switch is 25 meters.
- Each device will require a twin active connection between the device and the light switch for manual control
OPTION 1: The use of a junction box will allow multiple devices to be grouped together for easy installation.
The sample diagram would require the use of three single circuit dimmer modules, located in the junction box
OPTION 2:
The below uses three individual dimming devices, each device is located at the first point in the each group of switched lights.
The supply cables should be looped to each module location.
