NERO-DRY and NERO-RELAY look very similar when you compare their spec sheets, in fact their hardware is almost identical! There are a few key differences between the two devices though:
- NERO-RELAY switches whatever power is provided to the L and N terminals on the O terminal. This can be 24VDC or 240VAC power.
- NERO-DRY can switch a different voltage on the relay to the power provided on the L and N terminals. For example you can power the NERO-DRY with 240VAC and switch a 12VDC pool light with the relay by connecting the 12VDC feed to the IN and OUT terminals.
- NERO-DRY can be used to control devices that have a standard dry contact input, such as garage door motors. When no power is provided on the IN and OUT loop the relay will act as a simple open/close trigger.
