All previous generation NEXUS devices are compatible with the NERO gateway, to pair devices simply follow the steps below.
NEXUS devices contain a previous generation wireless communication chip that has lower range and fewer features than the newer NERO devices. Remember that you must pair NEXUS devices within 1m of the gateway, they will not join through the mesh like NERO devices.
- Select Devices, then select Add Device.
- Select Other Nexus Devices from the wizard
- The NEXUS-NERO will now enter Sync mode, you will notice the blue status bar stating the NEXUS-NERO is ready to add a new device.
- Put the device into sync mode by clicking the sync button
