NERO OS is the user interface (UI) that you use to setup and control your Nero system. It is the "front end" of the system, the part that you see and interact with.
NERO OS is an extraordinarily powerful yet easy to use system for controlling your home or small business premises. The NERO Dashboard is built around convenient ways to quickly check in and control many things in your home all at once, such as turning off all the lights, locking all the doors, etc.
The NERO Status Bar will display at the top of the Dashboard when NEXUS-NERO is in the process of doing something or if a Device is in need of configuration. In the example below, the NERO Controller is in sync mode and is waiting to "pair" with a new Device.
The notification bar will show the most recent events that happened on your system. You will get alerts here when devices are not responding.
NERO Dashboard Cards provide a quick overview of the current status of your entire system. After setup is complete, the left card will show the status of your Devices, and the right card will show the status of your security sensors and if any of them have been tripped.
During the initial setup the cards will appear grayed out, as there are not yet any devices added to the system:
Once you’ve paired your devices you’ll see the card colors changing to Green or Red. Green means that the status of your devices is OK, and red indicates something requiring your attention.
You can click on either Card to get more information, or simply click on ALERTS to get a more detail on the flagged events for the system.
