You may be required to set a Static IP on the Nero Controller if you are planning on integrating Environexus with another control system.
We recommend always taking a full system backup before setting a static IP address in case you misconfigure the network interface and are forced to reset the gateway.
We do not recommend you configure static addresses on your Nero gateway using this method unless you are confident you understand your network environment well. Instead, set a static DHCP Reservation in your router or DHCP server for each of your gateways. The gateway should stay in DHCP mode or "Automatically configure (recommended)"
- Select the Settings tab, then Net & WiFi.
- Select Manually Configure from the list of options.
- Select Static IP from the drop-down list and enter the desired IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS address.
- Click Save and Apply. Your gateway should start responding to the new IP address within a few seconds.
If you are having trouble accessing your gateway on the new IP address, try connecting via the My Nero portal.
