Nero Plug

The Nero Plug is a user-installable smart plug that allows you to wireless control the connected device up to 10A. The plug also features a constantly powered USB port for charging devices up to 5V/1A or powering devices that run on a USB input, such as the Nero Multi.

The plus measures the power consumption of the attached device and operates as a repeater in your mesh network, increasing reliability and range when combined with other Nero devices.

Installation

Plus your Nero Plug into a power outlet and the LED ring will turn on. Activate pairing mode on your gateway and then press the action button on the front of the plug once to pair to your network.

To unpair, set the gateway in unpair mode and then press the action button once, or press and hold the action button for 30 seconds to factory reset the device. The LED ring will flash green once the device is reset.

Controlling the LED ring

By default, your Nero Plug will indicate the energy use of the connected device with the LED ring. If you would prefer to disable this, you can change the value of parameter 81. If the ring is too bright, you can reduce this with parameter 84.
